Payment for veterinary services
The University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Camden receives no subsidy for its veterinary services. The charges at the UVTHC are comparable to those of private veterinary practices and are kept to the minimum level possible that is consistent with the highest quality of care for the animals being treated.
Our policy requires a 50% deposit of the estimated treatment cost for all admissions into the hospital before any diagnostic investigations and treatment. Full payment of the remaining balance is required at the time the animal is discharged from the hospital. Payment methods accepted:
Gap Only
If you have pet insurance check to see if they are affiliated with GapOnly.
GapOnly is innovating the pet insurance claims experience, Gap Only reviews and calculates your pet insurance claim while you’re still at the vet. You simply pay the gap (the difference between the vet’s invoice and the claim benefit under your policy) and go. No paperwork, no signups, less out of pocket expense, and on-the-spot claims processing. We also offer pre-approval prior to treatment, upon request.
